Best world of warships player meme9/23/2023 ![]() The glorious and totally realistic Soviet battleships also perform quite well, as does the British Conqueror if you like being that PITA that's constantly setting things on fire with every salvo (though the grind to get through the lower tiered British BB's is commonly considered one of the worst in the game).Ĭarriers are much less of a grey area, though in the present state of the game, hands-down the best tech tree carrier line currently available is the Germans. Yamato and Montana are still solid choices, they're just not as powerful as they once were thanks to powercreep. Having just recently finished the grind for the German Hindenburg, I have to say it's currently my favorite ship in the game.īattleships are a bit more of a tricky area, as some of the most powerful ones around currently are only obtained by grinding out advanced currencies like Coal or Research Points, something that you're definitely not going to be building up in significant quantities for a while as a newer player. The solid ships most in demand right now would probably be the American Des Moines, the Russian Petropavlovsk, and the Italian Venezia, but that's not to discount the potential effectiveness of any other top-tier cruiser. French DDs can be insanely powerful if played right, but they function more like a light cruiser on crack than a true destroyer, and have a couple major weaknesses, mainly being even more vulnerable to carriers than any other destroyer line (which is why they seem to show up so infrequently now).Ĭruisers are arguably the most diverse ship class almost every one has its own unique niche, and I've never really seen a Tier 10 cruiser that could be universally described as "bad". British and European are currently considered among the best when it comes to destroyer lines, though in all honesty they take a bit more of an experienced hand to get the most out of them.
